Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are in an I.C.T. classroom in the Bronx. In this classroom setting both general education students and special education students learn together and from each other. Many of my students have learning disabilities or speech and language impairments.

My students are faced with hardships everyday; yet, they come to school eager to learn.

Despite obstacles put in their way, my students strive to reach their potential. School is their safe haven where I strive to provide them with all the knowledge I can with the resources that are available to me.

My Project

My classroom is in need of much needed supplies to get this new school year started off right. My students need labels so that all of their folders, notebooks, etc. can be labeled for them. We also need pencils and dry erase markers so that my students can show off how much they have learned by writing their knowledge down. Lamination paper is needed in order to laminate personalized charts for students to keep all year. My students also need glue sticks in order to paste work in their notebooks and for art projects. All of these simple supplies are needed for my students to have a successful school year!
