Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The materials requested are things that I often purchase out of pocket but run out of quickly things such as: 2 pocket folders, hand wipes, board magnets, candies, stickers and raffle tickets that I have requested make learning a lot more interesting in my classroom. Lately I have noticed that my students have been asking me if I have any folders available for them to put their work in. Without questioning if they can purchase one, I know that if I had some available to them they would gladly use them in class and possible for their other classes too. The wipes are also super important to have in my classroom since it will help keep us all healthy a little longer in the semester. Lastly the magnets help display their work easier on the white boards.

The candy treats and prizes make class a lot more fun.

When we have games to review vocabulary or grammar they get a ticket and are put into a raffle if their name is called out they can win school friendly candy or stickers for their water bottles.
