This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
I absolutely love my students for their incredible resilience and eagerness to learn, even in tough circumstances. Every day, they inspire me with their determination and creativity. I believe that providing the right resources can significantly enhance their educational experience and help them overcome challenges. A heater will keep our classroom cozy during the cold months, allowing them to focus better on their work.
Having a laminator and copier will also make a huge difference.
The laminator will help us create durable learning materials that we can use year after year, allowing students to take pride in their projects. Meanwhile, the copier will ensure that everyone has access to important resources, creating a more collaborative classroom environment. Additionally, providing snacks will support my students’ health and concentration, especially since many face food insecurity at home. By equipping them with these essential supplies, I hope to unlock their potential and help them succeed.
