Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students need basic classroom supplies to allow them to be creative and interactive with their learning. We love to create new things and take our learning from chapters, units of study, and themes to real life with drawings, charts, projects, presentations, etc.

My students are full of energy and lots of creativity.

We have a family relationship in our classroom. My kids work together and help each other out, despite the difficulties they face at home. I teach 1st grade in a Title I school where 100 % of the students are eligible for free breakfast and lunch.

My Project

My students will use the crayons, dry erase markers, glue sticks, crayons, scissors, and other supplies to embark in a creative adventure for the school year. My students are in desperate need of basic classroom supplies! Without these basic classroom supplies, my students are being held back from the success that I know they can achieve.

These donations will the improve and change the flow of our classroom from the first day of school.

It is a daily struggle to find glue sticks, crayons, and daily supplies to complete assignments and projects. All I want is for my students to have what they need to be successful in the work they are required to do to achieve success.
