My Project

My second graders are bright, curious, and eager to learn, but they need essential supplies like erasers and headphones to thrive in the classroom. These simple items may seem small, but they have a big impact on my students' ability to focus, engage, and succeed in their learning.

What makes my students special is their enthusiasm and determination.

Despite challenges, they show up every day ready to learn and grow. They deserve the best possible learning environment, and these supplies will help them reach their full potential. Your support will make a direct difference in their education and give them the resources they need to succeed!

Erasers are a crucial tool for young learners who are still developing their writing skills. Many of my students lack confidence when writing, and the ability to erase mistakes helps them take risks without fear. With enough erasers for everyone, they can revise their work, practice problem-solving in math, and develop perseverance in their learning. Headphones are just as important. We use technology daily for literacy programs, math activities, and personalized learning, but background noise can be distracting. Having headphones ensures that each student can concentrate, hear instructions clearly, and work at their own pace.

My goal for this project is to provide my students with the tools, including the crayon sharpener, they need to feel confident and successful in the classroom. When students have access to basic supplies, they can focus on learning rather than worrying about not having what they need.
