My Students

My students are a diverse group of learners with different academic social-emotional needs. They are students attending a Title 1 school in a low socioeconomic community in Queens, NY. A majority of my students are bilingual and from hard-working families. Despite the hardships they face, my students are resilient and strive to continuously learn and grow.

My Project

At the moment, my classroom is in need of some classroom essentials like whiteboards, erasers, pencils, etc. These materials are so necessary for helping me support all my learners inside and outside of the classroom.

The supplies will help make lessons more colorful, fun, and interactive.

Whiteboards are a great tool for students to write/draw their ideas and answers which is especially helpful for visual learners. Whiteboards are also great for small group work and a more eco-friendly alternative for pencil and paper.

Please help support my wonderful students by limiting restrictions they may have and providing them with multiple forms of expression.
