My Students

My biggest challenge is getting all of my students to master skills and complete them independently. Their disabilities often require multiple lessons on the same focus and a repetition of tasks.

My students are very energetic and are so eager to learn.

When they master a skill, their faces brighten up the entire room. We have created a warm atmosphere in our classroom and students are very close and also feel the excitement when their friends have accomplished a great skill.

My Project

My students require repetition of tasks, so laminating pouches are used throughout the day. I often laminate their tasks and they complete them with dry erase markers. We go through so many dry erase supplies throughout the year. The students also love writing with them and feel responsible when they are asked to erase their work to start again. We also work in one to one instruction and small group various times a day. I would love a small table top chart so students can focus more when they are working with. The instructional cubes would be a great engager for math and literacy lessons during small group work.

Our supplies are running quite short and our school cannot provide any more dry erase markers or laminating pouches for our classrooms.
