My Students

My students are the most caring, unique, and energetic students you will meet. All of my students are diagnosed with different disabilities, and many of them are English Language Learners (ELL) as well. They come from low-income families and receive free, school breakfast and lunch. Despite all this, they are filled with curiosity and are always eager to learn. The students in my class love to engage in fun activities, especially listening to and reading books that take them to a whole new world.

My Project

This year has been off to a great start! However, there are some supplies that need to be replenished.

My students deserve a well-equipped classroom, filled with supplies that allow them to learn in a way that meets their diverse needs.

All of the supplies being requested will help my students stay organized and promote independence. They will be able to use the supplies to show their thinking and their work. My students love to use the dry erase boards when they are spelling out words in phonics, and trying to solve a problem in math. It allows them to use a different medium rather than paper and pencil, which also helps them feel more confident and take charge of their own learning.
