My Students

My students live in lower socioeconomic neighborhoods that require support and resources for learning. One of the biggest challenges we are facing is going back to in-person learning and supporting students with their individual supplies needed.

I need supplies in the classroom to continue to enhance learning with the students and teachers.

These resources will be used to help with writing and organizing work. The students and families may not have the financial freedom to provide extra resources above and beyond what is in the school already. By helping provide supplies and organizational supports, we will help make sure our students continue their learning with ease.

My Project

These materials will be used to help students take notes, write, highlight, and organize their thoughts while working. The Post-it notes will be used for students to write individual letters and create words. The highlighters will help students pick out the letter/word of the week. The markers and note pads will be used to write their letters, name, and numbers.

The students and teachers will use the Post-it notes, markers, highlighters, and notebooks to show their knowledge of pre-academic skills.

All of these supplies will be used in the classroom or at home when we move back and forth between in-person and remote learning.
