This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Help us count, know the days of the week and the months of the year! Our paper chart keeps falling and all the numbers follow. How can we keep up with the days of the week and the months of the year! We need a new chart that stays up to help us with the days, weeks and months of the year!
My lifelong learners are always on the go, ready to learn and do things on their own.
Our school in NYC is our home that we can call our own. Our school is a high poverty school located in one of the many boroughs of NYC. We have students from our neighborhood and students who have just come to the U.S. to receive an education. My students are full of life and always have a hunger for learning more each day.
My Project
My class needs a new calendar chart that will last for years to come. Our calendar will help us with counting, days of the week and days of the month. Our Hundreds chart is on the verge of dying, and it is very important to the classroom to help the students with place value. My students need more rewards to get them motivated. All these supplies will not go to waste. They will surely help motivate and teach.
My supplies that teach request will aid t my students tremendously with number recognition, reading, and motivation.
The charts we have now were hand made and are breaking apart and will have to be replaced for next September. We would love something that can be passed on from class to class from year to year.
