Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My classroom library is lacking some love. I want to kids to be inspired to learn and fall in love with learning. They are all so eager and only lack some interesting books. I personally LOVED the Magic Tree House growing up and I hope to do a read-aloud with them so the kids then want to check out the book and keep reading the series at home!

The kids are already amazing and I just want to support them with some amazing books and activities to go with them!

The additional materials will help me create engaging games and projects to bring everyday learning to life! I will be able to make some appealing and fun activities for them to use in the classroom and at home!

Finally, the Apple TV will allow me to create an interactive teaching model in my classroom. I will be freer to move around the room and monitor student learning without having to be tied to the cords at the front of the room. I will be able to basically create a SMARTboard out of a regular whiteboard in my room and be able to bring some lessons to life in subjects like science and social studies.
