Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Teaching in an urban, public school is not without its problems. My students come from a variety of socio-economic backgrounds. Despite those differences, they do all have something in common. They all share the love of learning.

Many of my students come to school without basic school supplies such as crayons and markers.

Although many churches have school supply drives, many of my parents are not able to take advantage of this service. Your help in donating to my project will ensure that all of my students have what is necessary to have a successful school year.
