Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Since we are nearing the end of this school year, we started to evaluate what we would need to have a successful start next year. We need your help keeping our classroom supplies organized. My special education students can not function in a disorganized classroom. These supplies will help us create an organize classroom. To help prepare for an organized and welcoming classroom, we need bins, decorations and supplies.

A lot of my students come to school without the basics.

They often need us to supply them with pencils and notebooks. Helping us give this to my students will insure that they start the school year off in a positive way.

We also need storage bins for our classroom supplies. Our current bins are breaking apart and different colors and materials because I collected them over the years. This makes our classroom look uninviting. We not only want a place that is organized, we want a classroom that is welcoming to our students.

The storage bins, organizer, and jars will help us organize our supplies such as paper, pens, erasers, glue sticks, sketch pads, highlights and more. These materials will help us create a functioning working space for our students and a welcoming classroom learning environment.
