My Students

The rapid rate at which we go through out classroom supplies in scary. With all the district budget cuts, we are unable to replenish our supply as quickly. These supplies will help me implement many different lessons with my preschooler.

My preschoolers are from a low income area in southern California.

They are enthusiastic learners and love to come to school. School is a safe place for them where they know they will receive a hot meal and have a wonderful day of enrichment. I can see on their faces every day how much they love to come to our classroom. With all the state budget cuts, it has been very difficult to be able to afford the necessary supplies for my classroom necessities.

My Project

The resources that I am requesting help me in a myriad of ways. For example, the trays help me with the different centers that I set up for my students. The labeling pockets will help students know where items belong and the book bins will allow to group books by student reading level. Whether it's an art project, reading activity or math counting lesson, these resources will help keep my lessons organized and ready for the students.

I believe that one of the most important components of a great classroom is the organization of the supplies as well as the lesson plans.

These materials are so influential to the success of both of these areas.
