My Students

My students are bright, energetic and fun loving . They are a quirky, ambitious and outgoing bunch of 7th graders that are quite opinionated about their classroom environment. they want to engage in a bright and airy room that is not stuffy; figuratively and literally. Of course they love reading and video games and socializing. What can you expect, they're twelve year olds. We love to be creative and have lots of fun while enjoying a wonderful literary experience.

These kids LOVE to read.

You'll find them reading under desk, on the desk, spread out with pillows on the floor, in bean bag chairs and even sneaking a peak during instruction. By the way, that IS NOT recommended! Reading helps build vocabulary, creativity and analytical thinking. It's a great start to build from.

My Project

We need supplies! My classroom is like many homes. Every now and than you need to refresh, stock up on some new items and invest in materials that will support student activities for the year.

This is a great time to INVEST in markers, pens, notepads and all of the necessary supplies and materials that keep classrooms functioning.

I want to be sure that even if my students may not have all they need, I've got more than enough to go around to keep us writing, reading and creating awesome work.
