Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are really awesome. They bring a wide variety of skills, abilities and stories into my classroom. We are a Title I School located in New York and my students bring diversity to life. They want to do their best and learn for themselves but are often not given the supplies or opportunities to do so.

A quality educational experience will go a long way in ensuring my students will become life long learners and advocates for their future.

My Project

These materials will make a difference in my students' learning because it is taking away the "behind-the-scenes" necessities that are required to be successful and will not infringe on their learning process or experience. Good procedures and organization are behind every successful classroom.

Materials like lined paper, colored paper, and folders will help students be less focused on supplies they may be unable to afford and instead maximize their focus and engagement.

Materials like clorox wipes and baby wipes will ensure we are all learning in a clean and effective environment. We all know how it is when flu season comes ... classroom cleanliness is a must!
