Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The specific items I’m requesting—books, hands-on learning materials, creative supplies, and flexible seating—will make a difference by fostering engagement, encouraging curiosity, and making lessons more interactive and enjoyable. My goal for this project is to create a dynamic, student-centered classroom where learning feels exciting and personal. I don’t want a traditional environment where students feel restricted or unable to be themselves—I want them to have the freedom to choose seating that makes them comfortable and a space where they can express their creativity and individuality. What makes my students special is their resilience, creativity, and eagerness to learn despite challenges; they thrive when given the right tools and opportunities to explore new ideas!
