Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Students come to the library excited and ready to learn daily. As they sit in my room I see the light shine in their eyes. At the end of the school year I would like students to still have that eagerness to learn. My favorite quote is, "With the Right Tools Students Can Learn!"

Many of my students receive free breakfast and lunch each day.

They come from many diverse backgrounds. Each and every day as my Kindergarten and first grade students enter my class, I try to make learning fun and exciting. My students have a thirst for learning. The more you teach the more they quench.

My Project

have requested markers, whiteboard erasers, craft sticks, paper and construction paper in order for my students to complete projects that will enhance their learning skills. With the materials that I am requesting, students will not only be able to listen to a story in the library, they will have an opportunity to do many hands-on projects. The students will make puppets, paper bag stories, and other activities that will enhance their reading skills.

Your donations to this project will enable me to make a difference in my students' lives.

They also will see that others care about their educational needs. My students will not have to worry about having the money to buy these resources. The only thing they need to do is come to school.
