My Students

I teach at a Title I School in East Texas. We are a small community school and we are limited on materials. However, our school serves a free breakfast every morning to ensure that all students receive the nutrition they need to start the day.

I want my students to have all the materials they need to better their education.

I am a 2nd-grade teacher. My classroom consists of a wide variety of diverse students that come from small towns. They are a bright group of kids who are eager to learn and I want them to be able to walk into my classroom and feel excited about what is in store for them that day. Because they are from a small town, they feel the need to challenge themselves to the max to show their full potential. This is something we encourage at BES because we know that our students are capable of accomplishing anything they set their minds too.

My Project

My students love our technology center! It is part of our center rotations every day. The use our iPads for listening to books and fun educational games. With these new headphones, my students can enjoy our technology to its full potential .

I see my students reaping the benefits of having these supplies by ensuring their love for learning.

Creating projects in second grade helps my students to think outside of the box and get their creative juices flowing. That's why WE NEED INK! This ink, will be used for a variety of everyday educational needs including daily writing and printing in the classroom. Students will also be able to print out projects such as Life Cycles and Historical Figures.
