My Students

My students are extremely inquisitive and all hands-on. They enjoy learning about different topics, but mostly science topics. They love experimenting and finding solutions to problems. We do ask for donations, but with the economics and different social classes we don't get much. Our students do work hard and deserve these supplies and much more, to help them along. They enjoy art as much as science, and love creating on paper. We encourage them to use a variety of materials.

My Project

We have been extremely lucky this year with donations from DonorsChoose projects and we are grateful for every little bit that is given. My new year of students in September will get to use the the art supplies like the foam, glue, paper, markers, and craft sticks to make their art projects daily. I think in these times it’s best for my class to express themselves through art because they all can’t write yet. Using these art materials would help them and their imagination grow with different ways to make something or interpret something that is in their mind.
