Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach in a high-poverty area where most students do not attend preschool. My classroom is often their first educational experience and I love to make it engaging and fun so they are always eager to come to school.

Students learn best when they have the basic supplies they will need to complete their tasks throughout the year!

Surprisingly, these items are not always provided or replenished.

I am requesting some basics such as Astrobrights paper to make activities fun, as well as pencils, and glue sticks for students to use in their daily activities. I am also requesting laminating pouches for creating engaging learning centers they can reuse and goldfish crackers for hungry tummies at snack time.

Thank you for caring about my students and helping them to have a positive learning experience!
