My Students

I teach a group of 35 students with special needs ranging in grades from 1st-5th grade. My students' disabilities range from Autism to ADHD and many others in between.

These students learn in different ways and paper and pencil tasks do not always motivate them.

We do a lot of hands on, thematic, interactive learning where the students become a part of what they are learning about in order to fully understand the concepts and meet all of their IEP goals.

My Project

Back to school is an exciting and challenging time for my students. In order to ease this transition out of summer and back in school time, I like to have general supplies on hand. These supplies can be pricey however, and that is why I'm asking for your help with obtaining them.

Young children go through tissues very fast, and so having them on hand at all times is a necessity.

I also need ziplock baggies and folders to help my students stay organized. The pens will help us label all of our supplies so none of them get lost.
