Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These supplies will help start our summer school session off with style! The chair bands are a hit for all students who would rather be outside playing and help all students focus while working with the movement option. Students love having nice, new pencils to kick off a new learning experience. The mini-whiteboards are a nice alternative to paper and pencil school work and help students feel like what they're doing is important. The prizes will be a nice incentive to reward cooperative behavior inside the classroom.

Students who start school with the supplies they need in the classroom and at home are more motivated, have higher self-esteem, and enjoy a better learning experience overall.
