Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In this project, I am requesting stationary supplies to support student learning over the summer.

Studies show that students tend to have learning loss due to the summer break.

I am trying to provide my students with materials to reinforce learning practices to keep their skills fresh and ready for the upcoming school year.

Each student will receive a practice notebook for writing prompts and practice that they can directly put into the book. In addition to the notebooks, each child will receive various stationary tools (scissors, glues, crayons and binder rings) to support their continual learning. All students should have fun over the break, especially since they worked so hard throughout the school year, but I want to make sure I give them a fun way to practice over this time frame.
