Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
This is my first year at my school and I work in an ICT co-teaching classroom. The students in my class are at various levels of learning and succeed at various paces. My class includes students who receive special education services, students who are gifted and talented, and students that are on grade level.
I have the privilege of working closely with other professionals that push into my classroom throughout the day.These services include occupational therapy and speech services.
I also have an opportunity to learn from and work with students who are from other countries and speak English as their second language. I appreciate the opportunity to work in a diverse classroom and make a difference in my students' learning experiences.
My Project
The materials we requested will help the variety of learners in a our class be successful and safe this school year!
As we try to move toward a more "normal" school year it is important that our students have individual supplies.
The pens, highlighters, and wipe boards will allow us to engage students in different ways while socially distanced in our classroom.
Due to the economic situation that the pandemic has put our community in, we are unable to ask the students for sanitary supplies that our classroom needs!
The ink and paper will allow us print differentiated worksheets for our diverse learners!
