My Students

My students are compassionate, kind, and motivated to keep learning despite any challenge thrown their way. All of my students come from low-income families and receive free school breakfast and lunch. No matter what, they love coming to school ready to learn and grow as young scholars. Despite the hardships the pandemic has presented to my students and their families, they keep a smile on their face and do whatever they can to keep showing up fully ready to learn.

My classroom is full of curious, insightful students who face challenges in order to get ahold of the basic materials needed to keep on learning.

Students in my class are excited to keep learning and consider school a second home. If given the materials they need to keep practicing what they are learning, they will soar to incredible heights.

My Project

My students are from low income households where some families work more than one job just to get by. Many of them were unable to afford the basic supplies needed for daily lessons and activities in school. My class is full of eager children who look forward to learning every day, but just need the proper tools to help them!

My goal is to give every student access to the supplies they need to make this year go smoothly and help them be successful in school!

My class uses dry erase boards, scissors, crayons and more daily during different lessons to help their literacy skills grow strong.
