Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are some of the most caring, resilient, and hard working young people I've ever met. They come from all over the world and are united by their commitment to learning and community.

Despite the many challenges they face, I have never met a group of students so eager to learn.

They are all English learners and most of them travel over an hour by public transit to get to school every day. I do not want their status as immigrants or our schools status as "turnaround" to stop them from getting the top notch education they deserve. I am committed to doing everything I can to support them and help them reach their goals. Thank you for visiting my page and supporting students!

My Project

These resources will be used every day by the students in my Math 2 and Statistics classes.

These basic supplies will help enrich our classroom environment, providing the tools necessary for organization, communication, and cleanliness.

The colored paper will make sure we can always find our homework and make eye-catching note pages for our interactive notebooks. The writing utensils, flashcards, and post-its will help our class develop strong literacy skills as we learn new vocabulary words and work to provide routine feedback among each other. And finally, the cleaning supplies will help make sure the classroom is a welcoming environment all year long.
