Supplies for Success: Pencils, Tissues, and Classroom Creativity!

My Project
I am fortunate to teach an incredible group of 8th-grade Social Studies students who are curious, hardworking, and eager to learn. Every day, they dive into history, analyze key events, and engage in meaningful discussions about how the past shapes our world today. My students come from diverse backgrounds, and many face challenges outside the classroom, but they always show up ready to grow, question, and explore.
To support their success, I am requesting pencils, tissues, and vinyl—three simple yet essential resources that will make a big difference in our daily learning environment.
Pencils may seem small, but they are a crucial tool for students to take notes, complete assignments, and express their thoughts. Too often, students arrive without one, and I never want a lack of supplies to be a barrier to their education.
Tissues are another necessity in a busy classroom, especially during cold and allergy seasons. A healthy classroom is a productive one, and having tissues available will help prevent the spread of germs so students can stay focused and engaged.
Finally, the vinyl will be used for creating engaging classroom visuals, historical timelines, and interactive learning displays that make history come to life. Having visually appealing and student-friendly materials helps reinforce key concepts and keeps students invested in their learning.
My goal for this project is to remove small obstacles that can disrupt learning and to create a welcoming, well-equipped classroom where all students can thrive. My students are special because they work hard and care deeply about learning, and I want to ensure they have the tools they need to succeed.
