Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The Dream Team at Sunset Park High School is a club that supports undocumented immigrant students. Members of Dream Team learn about and fight for their rights as immigrant youth and come together to create better schools for immigrant students. This month Dream Team is planning a celebration in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month. Supplies in this project will go towards that celebration open to our students, their families, and the Sunset Park community. The celebration will include food, activities, photos, and performances to celebrate our community's Hispanic and Latinx cultures.
