My Project
I work with amazing and creative 1st and 2nd graders in a Title 1 school in the Franklin Special School District. My students love science! I am starting a new class to explore early engineering concepts at a young age. I want to bring students more hands-on time to experiment and build. We will learn about engineering and design and then we will design, build, test and improve our projects.
We will build towers and bridges, make musical instruments, explore the power of air, make tents to protect Lego people from a storm, and play catch without using our hands.
We will learn through trial and error and play. And we'll use a lot of tape!
