Supplies for Set Models!

Help me give my students supplies for various projects in a theatre class. The shipping boxes and other supplies are for students to design and build 3D models of a set for a production project.

My Project

Our high school has recently had the privilege of starting a theatre program! This is the first year that we have had classes and I am looking forward to seeing it grow over the next few years. Being that it is a new program, there is little funding for general supplies for the class.

In a unit about play production, students will have the opportunity to create a 3D set model.

This will reinforce the concepts that we talk about in the unit such as: principles of design, set design, color theory and blocking. These projects will be an invaluable opportunity for students to demonstrate their understanding of production and have hands-on experience designing and creating a set. In addition to this project, the supplies will be used in other assignments and projects throughout the remainder of the class.
