This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am buying supplies for my new astronomy class this year! We are working on understanding the motion of Earth, the moon and sun and are making models. The supplies in this list will help us do these projects. Students will then apply their learning to larger projects. I'm hopeful that students will find astronomy highly engaging and have interest in science in general after implementing more engaging activities. Our classroom will greatly benefit from these donations and will be able to use them multiple times during the school year!
