Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I did not realize the full extent of the genius that my students represented till we were kept from each other by Covid-19. My students are resourceful, challenging and full of energy.

They come from various home situations and meet to learn to bring out their best versions.

My Project

The school year will start soon and I want to be in position to help my students be at their best.

Our learning environment is totally changed and in order to keep my students engaged, I have to find innovative ways to do things.

The goal is to provide each student a care package with a notebook, pencils, markers, a headphone, a book and arts materials. I will top it off with a snack.

I can just imagine the student faces when they open up their care package. It will help them be ready to start the year and keep them excited all year long.
