Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students attend a school located in the South Bronx. It is a Title I school that has been greatly impacted by the current pandemic. With the unpredicted budget cuts we do not want our students’ education to be affected by the given circumstances.

Our students thrive inside and outside of the classroom even when they face such hardships.

They are loving, kind, caring, creative, and motivated to learn. We believe that play is our brain's favorite way to learn and develop new ideas that may arise during play.

My Project

Our students need these fundamental art supplies at home that will help them to engage in lessons during remote learning days. These materials will be distributed to our students to have at home.

Providing our students with these materials will help them to continue to thrive even when we are not in the classroom.

If our students have these materials at home, it will be like they are still in the classroom because they will have access to the tools needed to complete activities. We will be using these materials endlessly and they will benefit our students during our remote learning activities.
