Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help me create a warm, engaging, and nurturing environment for my Pre-K students. Our school will be merging to one building. We are getting a much larger learning space. I want to create a cozy area.

This space will serve as a safe retreat for children when they need a moment of calm or reassurance.

Soft seating is needed for student to feel comfortable. A small canopy with light airy fabric will create a mini "cave" for quiet time. Soft fuzzy material will help children when they need extra comfort. A small book shelf with calming picture books and sensory-friendly books will help children stay in a quiet area and maintain a tranquil atmosphere.

I would like to create a doll house center. Students need materials for a wooden doll house. Children can use their imaginations when playing with furniture and figurines. In addition, I would like to create a car garage center where students can use transportation materials effectively.
