Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are special because they are new immigrants from all over the world and learning English for the first time. My brave scholars are juggling learning a new language, adjusting to a new country, and learning all of the things that every other middle schooler needs to learn at one time! These materials will make a difference in their learning because access to school supplies will be equitable, some of my students can not afford to purchase school supplies. We ran out of the materials that I purchased at the beginning of the year last week.

These materials are essential for creative English language acquisition.

Without the worry of purchasing school supplies, my students will be able to focus on learning English as a New Language and they will not have to worry about whether they brought a pencil or not!
