Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students are ELL learners and live in a low-income neighborhood. As several schools nationwide, we had to make the decision to learn remotely in the previous school year. However, it did not discourage students from learning, and instead, my students work harder than before. We are approaching a new school year in September with more changes to come. My students are looking forward to returning to school.

My Project

Hello! This year my co-teacher and I are sharing our students for Side by Side Dual Language Program. Some of our students may not be able to get supplies for instruction. Unfortunately, our school budget is less this year and our school might not be able to assist us in providing supplies to our students. These materials will help our students organize their notes in both languages (English & Spanish).

Students are learning to make a connection in both languages and to improve their learning skills.

Students in the dual-language program do double the work since they are learning in both languages. These materials are in great need for our students to have a successful academic year.
