Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Kindergarten is an exciting and diverse group of abilities, characteristics, and goals. Students come in with excitement and enthusiastic to begin their journey learning. Some of my students are learning how to read, write their name, count, while others are learning how to hold a pencil. My students love to dance to songs, learn new games, and play with engaging developmental toys.

My student’s imagination, curiosity, and enthusiasm is contagious!

I am a teacher in low income/Title I school. My students are faced with various challenges in and outside of the classroom. Despite the challenges that my students face, they show up every day with a positive attitude and excited to be at school.

My students are an energetic group of students eager to learn new things. They are curious about the world and bring a positive attitude to class daily.

My Project

This project will help me get supplies and resources to my students learning at home. We are doing distance learning and this project will help me give my students materials that will help them be successful learning from home. These materials will help my students practice from home essential kindergarten skills. This project will also allow me to receive resources to help me teach my students from home.

The materials and resources given will help me and my students learn the best that they can during these difficult times.

The white boards will be given to my students so that they will be able to practice essential skills with me from a zoom daily. The play-doh will help my students practice fine motor skills. The Teachers Pay Teachers gift card will help me buy resources to help my students learn in distance teaching. I am having to recreate the wheel during this learning curve. These materials will help me and my students so much.
