My Project

My students participate in interactive vocabulary lessons that use individual whiteboards and markers for student use. They enjoy learning morphemes (word parts) and putting together words and sentences using new Latin and Greek base words that they learn throughout the year. They also use headphones to access audiobooks when needed, and other online materials that go along with lessons. Our current set of headphones are getting worn out and have several pairs (almost half the set) that are broken, so new headphones would help all students access parts of the curriculum or work at their own pace if they need to due to learning disabilities or absences. My students work hard and enjoy the vocabulary and novel studies that we complete throughout the year. Most students want to learn and do their best, but do not have their own headphones or materials to access all of the lessons. If they had the supplies that they need we can do great things!
