Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are from a low-income area that has a great community with lots of support. They work hard for themselves and for their families. Many live in situations where they are in one home with over 4 families living together, yet they come to school every day ready to learn and grow.

Our school does as much as it can to help and assist the families of our students and we strive to make a better future for them to live in.

My Project

We need more paper for making copies and printing out images for our projects. We don't have any scissors as well that cut well and many students have been trying to tear their papers instead of cutting them. The tape and staples have almost run out and we don't have any clipboards that aren't greatly damaged. The hanging lamps and the border paper would increase the positive atmosphere in the classroom, making school a fun place to learn. Thank you so much for your time and consideration. My students have gained so much from your support and it shows in their continued growth.
