Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

By the end of the school year I see all my students successfully moving on to their following grade but to accomplish this goal they need the necessary utensils.

My students attend a high poverty, public middle school in New York.

They are eager learners who are willing to put in the extra effort. They are very loving and caring students, and they deserve to have materials available that they might not be able to get on their own. That is why your help would be deeply appreciated.

My Project

My students need classroom supplies in order to continue their school year. These supplies include but are not limited to paper, glue, pens, pencils, staplers, erasers, etc. The impact is greater than it probably seems being that it is just supplies. However, there are many days when my students ask me to borrow supplies from here to take home and use. The students will be able to complete their work at their maximum potential.

With your donations to this project, my students will be able to complete their classwork, projects and even homework without the fear of running out of supplies.

With these resources available to them, it gives them the chance to be more prepared and to put in their best effort.
