My Students

My students are interesting, fun-loving, humorous kids! As 8th graders, they are at a remarkable point in their lives. After this year, they will be practically grown! My kids love learning new things, and they ask questions about everything. I strive to make a difference in their lives, bring a little bit of happiness and excitement into their school day, and to make them each feel like they are the most important part of my day. However, I find them doing that for me because they are so great!

My Project

Interactive Notebooks have taken the classroom by storm! These notebooks allow for students to organize and synthesize their thoughts, accommodate multiple learning styles, act as a portfolio for student work, get parents involved in the student's learning, reduce the amount of clutter in the student's life, and allow students to take ownership of their learning and their creativity!

Students will experience hands-on activities, create and apply concepts throughout the year, identify patterns and relationships, and reach educational milestones through the design and up-keep of their interactive notebook.

Through your donation, students can worry less about the necessary supplies like scissors and glue to keep up their notebooks and spend more time getting the full effects of the Interactive Notebook.
