My Project

I am a veteran 7th and 10th grade World History teacher, but also Academic Decathlon & Academic Pentathlon coach. Most of our students are on free and/or reduced-price lunches. I want to do my best to show students how much their work means to me as a teacher and as their coach.

I want to support my students by giving them study supplies calming toys this year to encourage them to always try their best.

Thank you in advance for your help with this project. Some of our classroom supplies need replenishment, especially the folders to better organize their notes and the blank address labels that I print "test tomorrow" reminder memes on them. The stress balls and the squeaky toy mascot are very helpful for students, especially during academic competitions. They have shown a lot more stress this year than in previous years, so these items will be a great way to show them new strategies with how to deal with their anxiety. I also give a birthday award to each of my students on their birthday, but this requires many certificates ever year!
