Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Everyday my students are ready to learn Math! They expect to discover new content and are excited when they are able to work with different tools.

My students are inner city minority youth who are at a school that provides a warm community environment.

My students are eager to learn but sometimes lack the resources that help make learning meaningful so that they are engaged in learning. They have strong ambition and strive to becoming their best.

My Project

My students will use these materials to enhance learning. The Apple iPad can be used by students for their educational apps. This is useful because the iPad can demonstrate concepts that might be difficult to visualize on a chalkboard. The iPad programs can also help greatly with Math intervention classes. With the construction paper and art materials, the students will be able to express their work creatively.

Your donations will improve my classroom because it will allow my students access to tools that they may otherwise lack because of financial need.

Through various materials, many different learning styles are considered and my students will feel more confident because they have exposure to tools that students elsewhere also have.
