My Project

If our project is fully funded, my students will be one step-closer to becoming successful, independent, and positive contributors to society. Our big push this upcoming school year is making our Math Thinking Visible. Many of the items on our wishlist will make it possible for students to access math in a way they have never done before. In addition, when students come into the classroom, and see that it is well stocked for for their learning and safety it will be a motivator like no other! The laminating paper will offer protection to important reference charts and once laminated they can be sanitized as students use them to reference throughout their learning. Students will participate in many "unplugged activities" which require art and office supplies. Unplugged activities are basically a collection of learning activities that teach Computer Science and Math through engaging games, projects, and puzzles that use labels, paper, cards, crayons, markers, etc. Finally, many of the items in this project will help to create an organized learning environment AND support their Math learning and Exploration!
