My students need markers and glue to make great big books about the different topics, and rockets and safety glasses to learn force and motion in a fun way.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Give this project a boost!
A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
Look at them GO! I believe my students are going to make a difference in the world. With these materials they will be able to understand the concepts of force and motion and be able to create tools to help others understand it as well.
My students are part of a low-income community in Houston, Texas.
They are curious about things that some people take for granted and that is what motivates me to bring as much as I can to the classroom. They like to help each other and share what they know.
My Project
The students will be able to experience the fun part of physics, learning that motion and forces guide our planet, our equipment and our lives. Having them launch those rockets will help them see that the sky IS the limit and that with work and dedication they can lift off like those rockets. Also the markers and glue will be used to create big books to help explain the concepts to younger students. As Albert Einstein said: "If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough".
The donations that are requested will have a great impact on these future engineers, astronauts, teachers, and scientists.
They are the future and this project will help my students develop not only science skills but a sense of personal achievement as they become the teachers.
