My Students

At present, I am a 2nd grade teacher! This year I am teaching a total of 22 superheroes. I have a total of 13 girls and 9 boys. In my classroom, I have a class full of smart, talented and gifted students who are eager to learn. I call them superheroes in training. They are in training to the save the world of learning. We are a Title 1 school and my students are enthusiastic about learning

My students need a variety of different delicious snacks to help them stay engaged in all the lessons.

They are very helpful and love to share all the wonderful and amazing things that they have learned in school. When it's time for learning, they are ready for the challenge.

My Project

Many times, my students come to school very hungry. There are times when some of them do not have breakfast. In my opinion, having a student that is hungry and attempting to focus on their class assignment leads to a decreased interest in learning. Often times they are mainly focused on "what time lunch is" instead of their class assignments. I need healthy snacks like fruit snacks, animal crackers, water and juice in my classroom so that no student goes hungry.

The snacks will provide my superheroes the power they need for success.

The more power and energy they have, the more engaged they will be in each lesson of the day.
