My Students

My students are creative, thoughtful and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are my inspiration!

As a first year teacher, I want to start my classroom off right!

While my school and PTA are very helpful with this, there are some things needed for student success that I need your help obtaining! For some of my students, this is their first experience in a school, and my job is to help them fall in love!

My Project

This year, I have multiple non English speakers and students from a wide range of backgrounds. By funding this project, my students will get book bins that will store their books that are on their individual level, a carpet to learn, work and play on, and other materials that will help them learn procedures in class and around school!

My goal for my classroom is a welcoming environment and productive learning!

Another huge help with this is a seat storage sack for each student. My classroom has tables rather than desks giving no storage space to students at their seat. By having seat sacks, students will not lose valuable learning time going to their bags to get their materials for each lesson, because all they will need to do is reach in the seat sack attached to the back of their chair!
