My Students

I teach an energetic and enthusiastic group of scholars. My scholars love exploring and learning new things. I was so amazed when they arrived on the first day and even though some did not know each other they where still engaging each other in the first day activities. I've noticed how my scholars light up when they do a hands-on group project which allows them to feel as though they are leading the assignment.

My Pre K thru Kindergarten, Girl Scouts and Aftercare classes are SHINING STARS.

They continue to amaze me each and everyday. I do not want that drive in them to ever die. I want it to continue well after they leave my class at the end of the school year.

My rockets are shooting pass the moon and as their teacher I am going to make sure they get there..

My Project

All Pre-K scholars love colors and Special characters that move, make noises and funny faces. They also love to tap away at electric devices. These tables will allow my scholars to really focus in on lessons that I have already taught and also introduce things that will be taught at a later time have it be in my class or in a different grade. I will be able to download apps that will help with identifying colors, shapes and letters. I also will be able to do beginning handwriting skill with my Pre-K scholars.

My plan is to have all my scholars use these materials during the last fifteen minutes of morning block, which in return will help get their attention, will motivate and increase academics.

I believe in finding different ways in connecting and keeping my scholars on the path to success. Most have their first learning experience when they walk through my door the first day of school so I want them to be able to trust and know that they will be successful this school year. My class is the first stop for higher achievers and with help they will be able to conquer the world. This will also help with the ones that are easily distracted to focus more on the task at hand. This will increase the scholars attention and will allow them to increase their achievements.

Technology is their now, their world so I want to make sure they have it with your help.
