My Project

Hello, Donors Choose Community! This project will allow us to acquire some more basic supplies for our art studio. Our art studio serves a little over 600 students so we use a lot of supplies and materials each day!

The supplies we receive from Donors Choose give each artist the opportunity to stretch and explore while creating in the art room.

Here are some ways we will use these supplies. The copy paper and construction paper are used primarily at our drawing center. Students use copy paper to create all sorts of wonderful artworks usually with crayons, colored pencils, markers, or oil pastels. The sheet protectors are also used at the drawing center to go into binders with drawing tutorials. These tutorials help young artists develop their drawing skills. The portion cups are used at the painting center to hold liquid tempera and acrylic paint. The kiln stilts and kiln wash will keep our kiln functioning.
